SOCAPRI was at Miami Design District on Friday October 27th in occasion of the FASHION FIGHTS CANCER event.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, hosted by event founder, stylist, photographer and breast-cancer survivor, Angeles Almuna and fashion icon, founder and force behind GLAM4GOOD, Mary Alice Stephenson, the Miami Design District held the second edition of Fashion Fights Cance.
Nearly 300 guests united in style to raise funds and celebrate event honoree, breast cancer survivor and philanthropist, Ana Hughes-Freund, and all those who have and are still battling breast cancer. As the night’s honoree was Ana Hughes-Freund who overcame breast cancer to proudly serve more than 15 years at Vogue, having worked as both Vogue Mexico’s Director of Business Development & Special Projects and Beauty Director.
Benefitting GLAM4GOOD, which supports initiatives for young women battling breast cancer, while creating and celebrating social impact and empowerment through beauty and style, event guests were invited to donate to the nonprofit via digital donation booths available throughout the venue.
The organization’s founder, event co-host and recipient of Deepak Chopra’s prestigious Visionary Award, Mary Alice Stephenson is a renowned fashion and beauty expert, style commentator, humanitarian.
SOCAPRI donated one of its most iconic dress for the silent auction to contribute to raise money.
